Police Constable Entry Requirements
The College of Policing has implemented new entry routes for becoming a police constable, with individual forces already adopting these new rules.

Course details
The BA (Hons) Crime and Criminal Justice degree will explore theory and policy in the criminal justice system, alongside the different forces in society that shape crime.
We believe that every student must understand the practical implications of theory and how it relates to real-world scenarios. Our expert lecturers have experience in different areas of the criminal justice system and bring their unique insights into each teaching session.
Some of the modules and topics you will cover include rehabilitation, interview techniques, research and evidence, ethics and diversity, and the full journey through the criminal investigation process.
The University of Bolton actively works with the police, probation service and other organisations to ensure that students cover everything required to understand the vision and goals for the future safeguarding of society.

The BA (Hons) Crime and Criminal Justice degree has been designed to give every graduate the fundamental skills required to work across the criminal justice spectrum in a number of different jobs.
Career paths of our graduates have included private security organisations, non-profit organisations who support victims and rehabilitation, the police, HM Prison Service. You may wish to further your studies in criminology or law on one of the many Postgraduate and professional qualifications available.
