Every student that chooses this BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering degree will have the opportunity to develop an awareness and understanding of the fundamental principles of civil engineering.

The course is structured to help you learn how these principles are applied in real-world scenarios and get to grips with the most important and innovative technological solutions used in the industry. We have invested in state-of-the-art laboratories for structures, materials and hydraulics, as well as design studios complete with CAD systems.

Our academic team are all experts in civil engineering and construction, with links to industry in the North West, and they will guide you through a hands-on, engaging course that focuses on both personal development and professional development.

This Civil Engineering degree satisfies the educational requirements of the Incorporated Engineer and offers partial accreditation for Chartered Engineer, helping you progress towards a major industry qualification.
