The other parts of this master’s degree are split between two taught modules:
Academic, Creative and Professional Development
This module is all about developing your research and analytical skills, critical competencies and prepare you for a career in the creative and artistic industries. Leaving this course with the ability to apply for funding, assess and critique work and organise exhibitions will both empower you and open up considerable opportunities.
Creative Practice within the profession
The second module is an invitation to develop within the creative professional world you wish to join. Each member of the team is committed to making sure you leave our course with the skills needed to both develop your profile within the industry, but also get your work to audiences who will appreciate it.
It’s all about development
You will not only work with talented, seasoned academics who deliver course content but each one of them has industry experience, are practising artists and performers, or have real-world links to organisations, supporting your networking opportunities.
We will help you develop your academic, personal and professional skills, so that you get to the end of your MA (Specialist Title) via Creative Practice, with an industry-relevant creative CV and portfolio.
