A career in Health and Social Care is more than just a job. It’s an opportunity to make a real difference to some of the most vulnerable people and communities in society.
The rewards for such a selfless career are incredible. There’s no better feeling than putting a smile on someone else’s face or receiving a ‘thank you’ for helping out with simple tasks.
Those who already work in the sector will tell you that it is no 9-5 job where you can leave, and all the thoughts from your working day fade away. You’ll find yourself thinking about those you care for throughout the day, wondering how they’re getting on or thinking of new ways to improve their life.
Our Health and Social Care courses are developed in conjunction with NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework requirements, which means that you’ll be learning everything you need to progress in your chosen career.
By offering excellent facilities and an extensive range of work placements, we’re dedicated to helping you gain the skills, knowledge and understanding students need for a rewarding career in this highly-regarded sector.
Our BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care offers you the opportunity to develop the values, skills and knowledge essential to good health and social care practice, opening the door to a huge range of rewarding employment opportunities. Balancing policy, practice, and academic training, our course is strongly linked to the UK government’s agendas for Health and Social Care.
Any subjects are acceptable at Level 3. You should also have five GCSEs at grade C or above or grade 4 to 9 (or equivalent). If you have extensive appropriate work experience within the health and social care sector, but don’t meet the entry requirements for this course, please consider our FdA Health & Social Care.
