Our BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering degree is accredited with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), as well as offering partial accreditation to other bodies including Chartered Engineers.

Every member of the engineering department are experts in their fields, having spent many years creating engineering degrees that both challenge and support students. This Mechanical Engineering course is all about being involved in projects, both individually and as groups.

You will learn about the core theories and principles involved in mechanical engineering and how they are applied in real-world scenarios. We actively encourage our students to take what they learn and get involved in both industry projects and inter-university competitions.
