Course details
A team of experienced and qualified academics will guide you through the scientific principles of psychology and the application of them in any number of fields, from counselling, forensics, criminology, HR, teaching and just about any other aspect of everyday life.
You will journey through the history of psychology and how it has led to the modern-day techniques and science used in society today. At every stage, we will encourage you to explore and analyse both the methods and relevance of each topic.
Every student will develop the professional and personal skills required to have a career in their chosen field, taking advantage of our state-of-the-art equipment and software, as well as innovative methods devised by our lecturers.
There will be an opportunity to complete a work placement module to gain vital real-world experience.

Choosing your career path
Graduates may choose to go down the more traditional psychology career path, with this degree offering accreditation to the British Psychological Society, to those who achieve the required standard.
You may wish to move into counselling, criminology and forensics, sports science, education and social work.
