We know that choosing what and where to study is one of the most important decisions in your life so far and we are delighted that you are considering studying at the University of Bolton.

A brilliant way to get a ‘feel’ for the place, helping you to make a well informed decision when it comes to making your choices. Visiting the University of Bolton is a brilliant way to get a ‘feel’ for the place. You will be able to go on a student led tour of campus and speak to a tutor from each subject area throughout the day. You’ll also be able to get advice about funding, scholarships and accommodation at the advice day as well as submitting your halls of residence application. If you’re having trouble filling in your application, someone will be able to help you do this at the advice day – please come along to the information desk to ask.
Apply for your tuition fee loans, grants and bursaries in plenty of time.
If you haven’t already started your student finance application you will need to do this as soon as possible. It can take quite a few weeks for your application to go through and you will need to keep them informed of any updates and/or changes to your course.
Our Funding and Scholarship Advisors are available to offer help with any stage of your student finance application. They can also offer advice on scholarships and how to apply for them.

As of September 2016, students wanting to study a full 180 credit Masters can apply through The Student Loans Company for a postgraduate loan of up to £10,000. This will help cover the costs of tuition fees and maintenance and similar to the undergraduate loan you will not start paying it back until you earn over £21,000. Orlando Village is a purpose-built, gated halls of residence, arranged in groups of flats. The halls are split into eight blocks, each containing eight flats of six bedrooms. Orlando also has a common room available for student use.
