We know at the University of Bolton that there are many key ingredients to our success story; the passionate and knowledgeable lecturers, state-of-the-art facilities, award-winning Student Services Team supporting the students throughout their studies, great location just a 10-minute walk from Bolton town centre and excellent travel connections; only 20 minutes from the vibrant and metropolitan city of Manchester, that literally offers something for everyone.

Funding And Scholarships

We always advise to apply for your tuition fee loans, grants and bursaries as soon as possible. It can take quite a few weeks for your application to go through and you will need to keep them informed of any updates and/or changes to your course.

Accommodation

Orlando Village is a purpose-built, gated halls of residence, arranged in groups of flats. The halls are split into eight blocks, each containing eight flats of six bedrooms. Orlando also has a common room available for student use.

McCombs Bolton Ltd is the only preferred and recommended student accommodation provider. Applications are now open for 2020/2021, please visit Orlando Village for further details.

Open Days

To take part in our Open Days, you will need to book your place at www.bolton.ac.uk/opendays, this will automatically book you onto the subject presentation for your chosen course. You will be sent a confirmation email which will allow you tailor your day and book onto areas which are of most interest to you.
