I am a lecturer on the Physician Associates MSc programme.
I qualified with an MBChB from St Andrews and Manchester Universities in 1995. I underwent junior hospital work in many specialties including respiratory, cardiovascular and gastroenterology medicine before choosing my specialty of anaesthetics.
I spent two years as an SHO and five years as a Specialist Registrar including a year of paediatric anaesthesia. I gained my FRCA in 2000 and my consultant job at The Royal Bolton Hospital in 2007 where I worked for seven years. Since then, I have worked for the Care Quality Commission and more recently worked in Palliative Medicine at Bolton Hospice before commencing my role here at the University Of Bolton.
