Emma Thoms

I am a Senior Lecturer working from the Satellite Centre for Nursing in North Devon.

My area of expertise and interests include; Cancer Care (Haematology and Oncology), chemotherapy administration, staff and patient safety in relation to exposure to cytotoxic agents, extravasation risks and injury, cannulation, intravenous therapy, end of life care and healthcare leadership.

My priorities are ensuring the delivery of high quality patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience, which can be achieved through the provision of person-centred coordinated care.
