Kashif attended the University of Manchester and gained a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Law in 2010.
He then worked for International and national accountancy practices and qualified as a Chartered Accountant – ACA (ICAEW) in 2014.
Prior to joining the University of Bolton, Kashif worked for Kaplan Financial, the leading provider of professional accountancy and tax qualifications in the UK.
During his time at Kaplan, he delivered courses to PwC, Deloitte, Grant Thornton, international and national accountancy practices and leading industry clients. The qualifications which he focused on were ACCA, ACA(ICAEW) , AAT and CIMA and in particular the areas of Financial Accounting/Reporting and Audit/Assurance and Tax.
Currently at the University of Bolton, he has a particular focus on teaching Audit & Assurance and Advanced taxation across undergraduate, masters and ACCA. Kashif has completed his PGCert in Teaching and Learning in Higher and Professional Education and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
