Liza Ryan-Carter is a media practitioner specialising in post-production. Before joining the university, she worked as a freelance documentary editor with credits including “Of Time and the City”, directed by Terence Davies and “Tony Benn, Will and Testament” (winner of the Audience Award at the Edinburgh Film Festival).
In 2016, she completed “A Very Sicilian Justice”, directed by Paul Sapin for Al Jazeera English Channel, (winner, Best documentary short at the Manchester Film Festival), and is currently working on a feature documentary “A Few Nagging Questions”.
Liza is course leader for the Foundation Degree in Media Production and the BA (Hons) Media Production Top-Up.
