Visual Effects (VFX) and Animation Festival The University of Bolton is hosting its very first Visual Effects & Animation Festival taking place 1-3 October 2019. In partnership with Bolton Film Festival, attendees will take part in a variety of workshops designed to give an insight into key VFX artist roles within the industry. Attendees will also hear from speakers from Oscar-winning VFX studios including DNEG and THE Mill, who have produced VFX for several acclaimed films and TV shows including: Avengers: Endgame Blade Runner 2049 Chernobyl Wonder Woman 1984 Harry Potter Gladiator Bohemian Rhapsody If you are from a school or college and would like to bring a group of students, the university is happy to contribute towards the cost of a coach.
