Change your life this year – come and study at the University of Bolton

The University of Bolton is excited to still be offering places for September 2020 intake. This process, formally known as Clearing, allows prospective students to enrol onto courses they have not originally applied for. If you have not already secured a University place, or you have changed your mind about where you wish to study, read on...

At the University of Bolton, we understand starting University is an exciting yet potentially unsettling time. Teaching quality is at the heart of everything we do, leading the University of Bolton to be top five in the UK¹. We pride ourselves on our student-focused approach, we put our students and their needs first - welcome to #UniAsItShouldBe. Our campus is relatively small compared to other Universities, providing a friendly and supportive environment. Our passionate lecturers will get to know you by your name, not your student number. Our approach helps to nurture our students and bring out the best in them. Do not just take our word for it, our students ranked us number one in the North West for student satisfaction²… that is a lot of happy students!

The main reason we attend University is to secure our dream job. We continually invest in state-of-the-art facilities, so you are learning with industry standard equipment allowing you to seamlessly step into employment. We also have a dedicated Careers and Employability Team who will help support your career ambitions. Not to mention you will benefit from our direct links with local and national employers, we really do put you first.

How do you apply? You are eligible to apply through UCAS if you:

  • Did not accept any offers to date
  • Did not meet the conditions of an offer
  • Declined your firm place through UCAS.

If you have not made an application through UCAS, you can apply directly to the University. If you need any help with your application, we have a dedicated team on-hand to support you. Why not come and visit us and get a feel for our student first approach? We are opening our Covid-secure campus on 14, 15 August and 3 September for open days. Come and let us show you #UniAsItShouldBe, and why the University of Bolton is the right choice for you.
