What you will learn

This course will provide you with the opportunity to learn the theory that underpins Electrical Engineering and Electronics in general, whilst developing the practical skills required to put this knowledge into practice.

You will study both general principles and specialised modules including embedded systems and renewable energy systems. Our lecturers believe the best form of learning is by getting involved in real-world projects, visiting industry partners and undertaking placements.

A degree in Electrical Engineering puts you at the forefront of the ever-changing digital world and we will ensure you have the opportunity to learn about and use the latest technology and computer systems for design and development.

We understand that electronics form the most important components in products from every industry, such as automotive and medicine. That is why we place such focus on embedded systems, as a way of opening up more opportunities and career paths for every graduate.
