As a way of showcasing the type of training we give to our students, the School of Engineering will be organising an open-day event where our students present the project works they have done in class during the recently concluded semester.
The Open Day social activity brings together major industry players and the University students, staff and parents to appreciate the works done by our students.
Examples of students’ works to be presented from the Electrical and Electronic Engineering discipline include:
These sample projects test the ability of the student to integrate different subject areas delivered in class to develop their project. This is useful knowledge for graduating students, who will be able to apply different engineering solutions to solve real-life societal challenges.
To complete these projects, students researched different challenging problems. They pooled their skills together to realise the result of their projects. Students demonstrated their research, software programming, rapid prototyping, embedded systems engineering, analytical skills, project management and ability to present own proffered solution to a non-engineering audience.
You are invited to join the Electrical and Electronic Engineering discipline at the University of Bolton in the next session.
