Our Art courses have been ranked in the North West’s top five for Course Satisfaction by The Guardian University Guide 2020, but we’re not too surprised and here’s why.
One of the most significant benefits of our courses is that we offer a lower number of students per member of our academic teaching staff. This ensures our students develop a closer relationship with their lecturers and feel supported throughout their studies.
“It’s a small and friendly University with a variety of students from different backgrounds. The art resources are fantastic, and you are always taught in small groups, so you get more time with tutors. I love having the freedom to explore my own ideas, as well as the ones directed.” – Kate Myers, Fine Art graduate.
The University of Bolton also prides itself in our ability to facilitate students with all the tools needed to explore different fine art mediums. Every student is given the opportunity to create a masterpiece with the following methods:
Studying a Fine Art degree does not restrict you to paintbrushes and colouring pencils. We encourage our students to get creative outside their comfort zones and discover a variety of new ways to love art.
As a student at the University of Bolton, you will enjoy dedicated studio space to build, create and explore, as well as opportunities to work alongside arts organisations, giving you the chance to gain experience in the creative sector.
Our students are encouraged to participate in international study trips, as well as visit exhibitions and events at galleries, public art installations, sculpture parks and arts centres around the UK to gain inspiration for their own work.
If you love creating in all its wonderful forms, or perhaps you’re yet to find your passion within the art world, a Fine Art degree at the University of Bolton could be the perfect starting point to launching your career, click here to find out more.
