Civil engineering has a high employment rate due to the nation’s growing population. The more people, the more need there is for housing planning, road construction, transport links and so on. Day-to-day, the job role could include managing the budgets of a project, providing design drawings to clients, or even overseeing the delivery of equipment. The aim is to give the client what they want, on time and on budget, whist keeping in mind any legal restrictions.

Not a celebrity name, but Forbes voted him the firth richest man in the world and accounts for 40% of the listings on the Mexican Stock Exchange. He studied Civil Engineering at the National Autonomous University of Mexico something which he claims has given him the edge in the business world.
