What a career in Social Work looks like

If there has been a significant event, their services might be immediately required somewhere, but most of the time, social workers will travel from home-to-home, checking in on their clients, helping them with any needs they may have and giving them time to talk and create a bond.

A popular career option is one that good-hearted people will embark upon. One of them is none other than Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson. Before his acting career took off, Jackson was heavily involved in his local community and worked as a social worker for two years in Los Angeles.
