The University of Bolton’s Centre of Pedagogy hosts a range of evenings with talks, new research presentations and discussion underpinned by the university’s teaching intensive, research informed (TIRI) approach to education. Guest speakers include practitioners from primary, high school, further education (FE) and higher education (HE) sectors. Guest speakers and experienced practitioners from the education sector present new research on perspectives of pedagogy, providing an academic forum for discussion.
The events include panel discussions which provide an opportunity for participants to engage with other co-presenters and the audience around any topics in and around Education Policy and Practice, so please feel free to bring an issue that you feel is important. Your engagement with the University of Bolton Pedagogy Events will provide additional evidence for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and for your fellowship application if you are seeking a category of Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
