The UK’s creative industries are growing faster than any other, offering the future generation an exciting variety of careers within the sector.
To encourage youngsters to explore these options, Bolton School of the Arts is offering 13 to 16 year olds the opportunity to develop their creative skills and further their interest in higher education by opening the University up to the National Saturday Club.
These Saturday clubs provide teens with the chance to meet a variety of industry experts, who share their knowledge and passion; from Literature, Art & Design, Fashion, Business, Science and Engineering.
Bolton School of the Arts is well respected and continues to score highly with student satisfaction. This programme has received great feedback from the National Saturday Club, with 80% of the members agreeing they feel inspired to consider a future career within creativity. As well as focusing on future prospective, the club encourages its members to be vocal and independent by partaking in creative discussions and projects to build their confidence and recognise their individual areas of interest.
Bolton School of Arts also provides club members and students with links to local arts venues such as neo:artists’ studios and Bolton Art Gallery & Museum.
