The University of Bolton Recognised by the Times and the Sunday Times Good University Guide

The University of Bolton is recognised by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide as one of the top universities in the UK for teaching quality. The guide awards the university with the fourth position for overall teaching quality, as voted by students in the latest National Student Survey.

The university is also ranked joint 14th in the UK for student experience, with high student satisfaction rates in accounting and finance, creative writing, English, psychology, nursing, social policy and social work.

Speaking on the university’s achievement, Professor George Holmes, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bolton said, “It is truly remarkable to see the University of Bolton highlighted as one of the top universities in the UK for teaching quality in The Times and The Times on Sunday Good University Guide,”

About The Times And The Sunday Times University Guide
The guide provides the definitive rankings for UK universities and the most comprehensive overview of higher education in Britain.

It includes profiles on 132 universities and the most authoritative UK university league table, making use of the latest data published in the past two months.

A fully searchable website with university profiles and 67 subject tables will be published at www.thesundaytimes.co.uk/gooduniversityguide on Sunday for subscribers to The Times and The Sunday Times.

It contains full profiles of all universities. The league table is made up of nine indicators including student satisfaction with quality and their wider student experience, research quality, graduate prospects, entrance qualifications held by new students, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, service and facilities spend, and degree completion rates.
