Anika Leslie-Walker is a lecturer in Community Sport Development.
Following her undergraduate studies, Anika completed an MSc in Sport Management at Loughborough University and is currently undertaking her PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Anika started her career at the Bedfordshire Football Association, where she was employed as a Football Development Officer (Women & Girls).
Anika has worked as a football coach in the USA & UK, with males and females in grassroots and academy settings. Furthermore, Anika has worked as a Physical Education teacher in secondary schools and further education colleges delivering GCSE, A Level and BTEC qualifications.
Anika's research interests are focused upon sociological perspectives within gender, race and sport.
