Duncan Cross (PhD, PgCert, BSc (Hons), PGCE, QTLS, FSET, MBPsS, FCIEA, PFHEA, NTF) is an Associate Teaching Professor in the School of Education and Psychology, the Academic Lead for Education and the Programme Lead for the PgCert Teaching and Learning in Higher and Professional Education. Duncan also teaches on the master's in education pathways and supervises doctoral research students.
Duncan has a diverse background, having worked in a range of higher education and further education contexts, including in China teaching English and training teachers to the NHS. He was a TEDx speaker in 2017, and it can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zu_XDJP3wAc&t=1s
Duncan is a National Teaching Fellow, Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Fellow of the Society for Education and Training, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors and a Member of the British Psychological Society.
