Dr John Tomlinson

Lecturer, Centre of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences

Dr Tomlinson works as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, having a major interest in Fetal Medicine and Obstetric Emergencies. He has participated in both Undergraduate and Postgraduate training programmes in the Maternity Department at Royal Bolton Hospital, and trained on various Regional Courses including MOET (Managing Obstetric Emergencies and Trauma) and RoBust (Operative Vaginal Birth Training). He has assisted in the placement of Physician Associate students in their practical placements in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and in May 2020 taken up a role as Part-Time Lecturer in the Centre of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Bolton.
