Dr Sharon Preston

I am Programme Lead for BSc (Hons) Psychology with foundation year, and a senior lecturer at the University of Bolton. I am a Chartered Psychologist and FHEA. My background has been in the area of child development, and my PhD focused on analogical reasoning in pre-school children, which is my specialist area. I have taught at the university for many years and covered most aspects of psychology. Currently, I am part of the foundation team focusing on research into the recruitment of mature learners onto the BSc (Hons) Psychology with foundation year degree.
