Dr Xiuli (Shelley) Guo

I joined the University in April 2018 having spent a number of years teaching in higher education institutions both in China and the UK. Most recently, I taught business and management related modules at the University of the West of Scotland. Prior to this, I had been a lecturer at the Business College of Beijing Union University for more than twelve years.

I also worked in a number of different roles for companies and organisations, amongst them assistant marketing manager, communication assistant, chief operation officer. I hold a doctorate degree in marketing and a Master’s Degree in International Marketing. My areas of academic interest include but are not limited to service marketing, digital marketing, international marketing, public sector marketing and management, consumer behaviour, business and management, widening participation, work-based learning and pedagogy in business education.
