Rose read law at the University of Manchester where she achieved a first class honours. Rose then completed a Master's in Legal Practice at the University of Law before gaining her Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Cumbria where she achieved ‘outstanding’ in all areas of her final placement. After working for a number of years as a teacher in the primary education sector, Rose then moved into higher education.
This academic year, Rose will be drawing upon both her legal and educational expertise by teaching within both the School of Education and Psychology and the School of Law. In regards to education, Rose will be delivering the maths in schools module on the BA (Hons) Education and Learning degree. Rose is also the module leader for land law, family law, law in context, intellectual property law and legal skills.
When she is not teaching, Rose spends much of her time engaged in academic research. Her current research focuses on the education of children, not in school.
