Take your Career to the Cloud with the Remote MSc Cloud and Network Security course

The MSc Cloud and Network Security programme from the University of Bolton is now available in a fully online form. This means that you are able to take the course from anywhere with an internet connection – so long as you have a powerful enough laptop that is.

This course covers the technology that will make you an invaluable asset to any team – even Donald Trump needs someone with Network Security knowledge. The module on cloud penetration and forensics will be of particular interest to the security conscious.

Future-proof your Career

Cloud technology is incredibly pervasive, especially given the changes the world is making due to the pandemic and the new normal of remote working. From upgrading on premises emails to cloud-based file storage, you’ll learn the necessary skills to scale from small infrastructure to major cloud infrastructure applications.

A supportive Learning Environment

You will have the support you need as you acquire the capacity to adapt and learn new skills ready to respond as the computer industry evolves throughout your career. Our lecturers understand that no two students are the same and so will adapt their teaching methods to suit your career goals. You will also have input from Industry partners as they provide relevant up-to-date input to our teaching and live student projects.

Another benefit of the course is that you will have the opportunity to build your own cloud resources through the Amazon AWS educator programme which grants each student $100 credits, as well as classroom credits to use throughout their studies.

This course is also available as an on-campus course.  Either method you choose, you will need a laptop with at least core i5 or equivalent and 8GB of ram.
