With the continued development of towns and cities across the UK, the country is in high demand for qualified professionals across all construction disciplines. If you have ambitions of working in this area as a professional, then the University of Bolton’s HNC Construction and Surveying course is your gateway to employment in this field.
The University of Bolton offers a variety of Construction courses, all which offer an exciting, hands-on opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge. You can learn safe and responsible construction and surveying techniques while delving deeper into the environmental, social, economic and legal factors that apply to today’s construction industry. The University also offers a broad base of traditional construction subjects with specialist options allowing you to adapt the course to your particular career ambitions.
With our HNC Construction and Surveying course, you can get the opportunity to enjoy studio, field, laboratory and project work, alongside lectures, seminars and tutorials. You then demonstrate your learning through course and project work, and time-controlled assessments.
Your projects will involve being a member of a simulated construction team and working with other student construction specialists. What’s more, you’ll be able to work alongside and learn from our dedicated team of staff, who are all members of the construction industry’s professional bodies and have all worked (or continue to work) in a professional capacity.
Any subjects are acceptable at Level 3. You should also have five GCSEs at grade C or above, or grade 4 to 9, including English, Mathematics, and Science. However, we are happy to consider your application if you have non-standard qualifications or a proven employment record in the construction industry.
