Before becoming a lecturer, I was in the games industry for three years working on the LEGO franchise at TT Games as a LEGO Tech artist, and then a character artist. I now teach at Bolton, where I am currently engaged in researching how e-Learning can affect student engagement rate. Alongside this, I am also keeping up to date with industry techniques via my own personal projects in my free time, so that I can pass them on to the students I teach. I think that this is very important to do, so our students graduate with the latest knowledge.
