Through NHS England Next Steps (2017), it has been recognised that the increase in demand for services is intensifying the pressure on the workforce.
Enhancing clinical practitioners skills and scope of practice is one way to address this problem. Being able to expand your skills within your role will help not only your clinical confidence and practice but perhaps more importantly provide better continuity of care for your patients.
The MSc in Clinical Practice programme offers practitioners the chance to develop their skills and scope of practice in advanced care, and its flexible approach allows you to choose when to study and progress to fit in with your busy work schedules.
Students undertaking the MSc in Clinical practice can develop their skills, knowledge and diagnostic skills to an advanced level to better equip them to manage the changing complex needs of patients seen within the NHS today.
When undertaking this programme at Bolton you will develop expert clinical skills with research, education and clinical leadership within their scope of practice.
As a Clinical Practitioner with advancing skills, you will be able to work innovatively on a one-to-one basis with individuals as well as part of a wider team, and can complement and contribute to working as part of the wider health and social care team across traditional professional boundaries.
