Stuart Smith

Lecturer

Stuart is based in Bolton One and teaches on the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice programme along with stand-alone modules for Clinical Examination Skills and Anatomy and Physiology for Health.

A registered Healthcare Professional with over 20 years of frontline experience working within the pre-hospital, urgent care and community healthcare arenas, Stuart maintains his clinical competency by still undertaking pre-hospital shifts.

Stuart qualified as an Anatomist during his first degree before undertaking further academic training in Educational Management and then Advanced Practice. Stuart has a particular interest in professionalism and communication skills between healthcare professionals and patients with a view to commencing his postdoctoral research in this field.
