Our flexible courses are designed to suit healthcare professionals. We have full-time and part-time nursing courses, beginning in January, May, and September. We have undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development courses so that you can find the right nursing qualification to suit you. Our clinical and biomedical sciences department also offers continuing professional development courses that are relevant to nursing.

Funding update: Nursing students to receive £5,000 payment a year

The Government has announced that from September 2020 new and continuing students studying undergraduate and postgraduate pre-registration nursing, midwifery and some allied health courses will receive a non-repayable and non-means tested (universal) grant of at least £5,000 a year, in addition to existing mainstream student support.

Eligible students may receive additional funding of up to £3,000 to help with childcare costs or to study specific courses. We will update our website once more details have been announced by the Government in early 2020.
